Hey there! I'm Xanthe, and I specialise in tutoring Spanish and English, with a particular focus on English Language and SATS preparation. My journey into language tutoring stems from a lifelong passion for linguistic exploration, which has only deepened with time.
My dedication to teaching emerged early on, as I eagerly volunteered during my teenage years to support younger students with their reading and revision. This early experience ignited a sense of fulfilment and purpose in me, paving the way for my professional teaching career spanning seven enriching years.
The essence of one-to-one tuition holds a special place in my heart, having personally experienced its transformative power in my own education. Witnessing firsthand the profound impact of personalised instruction tailored to individual needs and strengths, I am committed to providing my students with a similar empowering experience. My ultimate aim is to foster confidence in their abilities, guiding them through personal challenges and empowering them to conquer tasks they once deemed insurmountable. I firmly believe in banishing the notion of 'can't', a mantra I instil in all my students.
