English (KS1 – A-Level)

With a wealth of experience in English tutoring, I specialize in both language and literature exam preparation, seamlessly guiding students through transitions from KS2 to KS3. Proficient in the National Curriculum and diverse exam boards, I employ effective techniques to unlock students' potential, ultimately aiming to elevate their grades. My extensive background includes navigating EHCPs and addressing individual students' challenges.

However, beyond exam preparation, English is a journey of discovery. It encompasses the rich heritage linking back to Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome, as well as its contemporary adaptability to suit modern needs. While exams may occupy much of our attention, English proficiency is fundamentally a lifelong skill. Effective communication, both written and verbal, coupled with self-assurance, are crucial for success.

To foster this holistic approach, I design lessons to be engaging and enjoyable. By incorporating materials tailored to each student's interests, I cultivate confidence while maintaining focus on achieving our objectives.
